Once you have decided that Sacred Heart is the school in which you would like to send your child for their education there is an enrolment procedure that must be followed.
Children to be enrolled into Kindergarten need to have had their fifth birthday by 1st August in the year of their commencement of full-time schooling.
Initial contact should be made with the school requesting an Enrolment Package.
Applications for any child, in any grade, must be made using an official school Enrolment Application Form.
Parents/carers are asked to complete an application for enrolment and return it to school with the child’s birth certificate (this must be presented otherwise enrolment will be jeopardised – child protection issue), baptismal certificate (where appropriate), immunisation history statement (child’s blue book is not acceptable) and any other relevant forms at that time (court orders, medical reports, previous school reports etc).
All documents must be originals and will be copied for the student’s file.
The Principal will then contact the parents/carers to arrange an interview prior to the application being accepted.
A letter of acknowledgement of acceptance or refusal will be sent to parents/carers.
