Marriage and Family Week

Besides being Catholic Schools Week next week in The Armidale Diocese will also be celebrating Marriage and Family Week as well. This year’s theme is “The Family: Passing on the Faith”. Bishop Kennedy has instructed that all students in diocesan Catholic schools dedicate a lesson specifically to the Sacrament of Marriage during Marriage and Family Week. Marriage and Family Week concludes on Saturday 1st August with a parish Mass and celebration. Throughout the week, all of us are strongly encouraged to pray for all families and to actively invite students and families to the parish celebration on the 1st August.
