Diocesan Swimming Carnival Results

It was great to hear how well our students went at the Diocesan Swimming Carnival held at Moree and it was unfortunate that Mr Hyatt couldn’t attend in his normal role of team manager. Thanks again to Mrs Rees who was the team manager for the day. All of our students showed the rest of the Diocese how great our school really is as their behaviour and sportsmanship was exemplary and they gave 100% at all times. They tackled many challenging obstacles such as the longer pool and the high level of competition. All children should be very proud of their achievements especially Jack who will compete at Polding for 11yrs Breaststroke and Felicity who came first in Jnr Breaststroke, 2nd in Jnr Backstroke and Individual Medley. With these placings, Felicity achieved the Runner Up Junior Girl. Our PP5 Relay Team consisting of Tom, Felicity, Cameron and Molly came first in their event. All of these children will now represent the Armidale Diocese at the Polding Swimming Trials on Wednesday 25th March at Sydney. Congratulations to all students!
